New AEC-Q101 Qualified TVS Array Series for Automotive Circuit Protection

PAM40SDxxBL/CBL Series Press Release

The New Series of Devices Are Available in Multiple Voltages and Offer Unidirectional or Bidirectional Configuration Options

ProTek Devices today introduced a series of AEC-Q101 qualified transient voltage suppressor arrays (TVS arrays) designed for circuit protection in automotive subsystem applications. Available in multiple voltages, this new series of components are also compatible with various other industry standards.

The PAM40SDxxBL/CBL series of TVS arrays offer 200 watts peak pulse power per line (typical = 10/1000 microseconds) and also boast low inductance and an excellent clamping capability. They have unidirectional and bidirectional configurations. Also, the series has a low leakage current less than one microampere (typical) and a fast response time. They are available in multiple voltages from 10.0 t0 54.0 and are also RoHS compliant.

The new series of TVS arrays are compatible with IEC standards 61000-4-2 (ESD): air plus / minus 30kV, contact plus / minus 30kV; with 61000-4-4 (EFT): 40A, 5/50ns; and with IEC 61000-4-5 (surge): 8/20 microseconds waveform.
