AEC-Q101 Qualified TVS Arrays Target Automotive Circuit Protection

PAM39SDxxAL/CAL Press Release

The New Series of Devices Are Also Ideal for Circuit Protection in Consumer, Telecommunications, Aerospace, and Other Similar Electronics Subsystems

ProTek Devices has introduced a series of AEC-Q101 qualified transient voltage suppressor arrays for automotive circuit protection applications. The PAM39SDxxAL/CAL series is also ideal for consumer electronic products, telecommunications, aerospace and intelligent control system applications.

This new series is available in unidirectional and bidirectional configurations. It is rated as 400 watts peak pulse power (typical 10/1000 microseconds). A UL registered series of devices, they are also compatible with IEC standards 61000-4-2 (ESD): air plus/minus 15kV, contact plus/minus 8kV; with 61000-4-4 (EFT): 40A, 5/50ns; and with 61000-4-5 (surge): 8/20 microseconds waveform. The series also boasts low inductance and an excellent clamping capability. It also features low leakage current of less than one microampere (typical) and a fast response time. It is available in multiple voltages from 10.0 to 60.0. It is also RoHS and REACH compliant.
